Jones Bros. Cupcakes brought home a sweet win last night on the Food Network show "Cupcake Wars," making up for an earlier loss and landing a spot on a new Food Network program.

Owner Bill Jones and lead baker Marianne Martin took first prize with four cupcakes: smoked pancetta with apple frosting, blackberry cobbler, sweet potato pie and peach mimosa. Jones Bros. served the cupcakes at the Country Music Awards in Nashville.

Judges included Candace Nelson, owner of Sprinkles Cupcakes, which has locations around the country; Florian Bellanger, chef-owner of MadMac, an online macaroon company; and country music artist Deana Carter.

After the win, Jones Bros. can compete on the Food Network's new show, "Cupcake Champions," which premieres May 13. Jones Bros. will be on the show May 27 as part of a "Glee"-themed episode where bakers will serve cupcakes to the cast and crew of the Emmy and Golden Globe-award winning television show.
